COMBRITZAM or Combined British Forces Zambia was a detachment of 29 Squadron (and others) that operated from bases at Ndola and Lusaka. The Squadron was sent there after Ian Smith Declared UDI in (then) Rhodesia in 1965 and stayed until approximately September 1966 when it returned to its base at Akrotiri, Cyprus
